What's happening
Rapid overgrowth is reported near the abandoned village, after the fine forest section, towards the railway station, and on the final section after the bird sanctuary. Loose soil is reported along the trail, especially when wet. Leech activity is high between the main village and the abandoned village.
What to do
Avoid this stage on rainy days. Hike with caution on loose soil and slippery sections.
