What's happening
The trail is in good condition, with some uneven surfaces. The forest section after Haputale is overgrown with many leeches, and there is some overgrowth midway. Visibility can be low in rain and early mornings. Mobile reception may be weak.
What to do
Recommended for hiking. Take care in low visibility, and be prepared for leeches.
